The knife industry is one of the permanent and historic fields of Zanjan province, which requires serious attention and support from the custodians. In the investigations and according to the evidence, it is certainly not possible to accurately state the exact date of the beginning of this industry in the province of Zanjan, but the oldest knife obtained from the salt man in the Chaharabad salt mine (Hamzeholou village) belongs to Eighteen centuries BC.
